As a club our goal is to welcome new people to the world of board games. You might be thinking “Why do you have an intro to gaming page? I’ve played board games before.” What you may not know, is that modern board games come in many different flavors and are not like the games you might remember. Over the years we have had many encounters with first timers that eventually started their own board game collections. Those encounters involve sharing things about the hobby and becoming familiar with jargon and most importantly help them discover different things they may not know they like!
This page is simply a resource that we have put together to help new gamers on their journey, whether they are just starting or a few days, weeks, or months into it. There is far more to board games than you may realize and we -hope this will help answer some questions and be a guide to get you on your way.
